Hello world, back with some new stuff. Last nite I was on board @ RimeNyc (Dope shit in there!) as they hosted the OSD (Obsessive Sneaker Disorder) screening for their new Sneaker Sketch Comedy. (Yes you read that right lol) Shout out to Sean "Paper Chaser" Williams and the whole crew and DJ Clark Kent for stopping by and showing love.

Meet the Jetsons!

I'm a tech junkie, and it's not often that technology amazes me. But every so often, something like this comes along and blows me away (pause) Everyone has been talking about the new Apple tablet slated for next year some time which sounds like just a really big iPod Touch. But this shit right here nigga (Kat Williams voice) is something extraordinary. This is the Microsoft Courier, my boy Jules showed me the vid the other day, and I was like "get the fuck outta here" Check it out.

Hello Brooklyn

Anytime it's PBS the Photographer x 40oz Van, that means it's a great time. Last night it was the Hope Lounge in Brooklyn. A little difficult to get to, but worth the travel! Happy birthday Tiff, hope you like the shots! Anyone who needs my contact info. Email me at prettyboyslim@gmail.com, or leave a comment with your info! Til next time, remember who shot ya!

I'm Pretty sure this isn't it...

I was going around looking at the other blogs I check out and found Dancin' Kim. Now I love the 80's. (Shameless plug for VH1) But I also hate when the hip hop culture gets exploited! This totally rad chick taught "us" how to be fresh and learn the hottest "street" moves! Now although I didn't chose the original video I saw which shows Kim "teaching" how to pop lock because when I did some more investigating I came across this gem. It's Dancin Kim showing how to do the dance from the immortal Michael Jackson's Thriller. But as I watched, I don't quite remember Mike's video rendition quite like this. You be the judge!

How To Do The Thriller

The Real Video of The Year

Yeah yeah yeah, I know just about every blog this week has been devoted to the VMA's and Kanye's meltdown. I don't really want to weigh in too much on it other than calling it what it was...rude. It was 100% wrong on his part. I think Kanye is an interesting dude that just says whatever he feels whenever he feels like it, and I respect that. Albeit, it was the wrong time and wrong platform, he's entitled to his opinion. But in my opinion, the best video of the year was not even nominated. And it's Kanye's video for Welcome to the Heartbreak featuring Kid Cudi. This just might be my favorite song off 808's & Heartbreak. The video itself is simply amazing and I tip my hat to the truly gifted director and photographer Nabil on this one. He's your best video world!

40oz Bounce End of Summer Celebration

Ah man, I told just about every person I knew..."Come to 40oz Bounce, it's going to be crazy!" And my boy Van did not disappoint! Had a great time, just cooling out meeting new people and just enjoying some of the spoils of photography. Here are the shots from yesterday into lastnight when I stopped by my new friend, Morgan's place for her party! Check out the pics here.

P.S. See Natasha, I didn't post your photo as you requested, but I disagree with you, it didn't come out bad!

I need a loan...

Originally I was going to post about the highly anticpated Space Jam XI's returning after a nine year hiatus from the sneaker world on Black Friday. I paid $250 for mine back in high school to have them 3 months early. But now I'm much older and wiser and I could buy new photography equipment with that!

But as I was looking for those, I found these and nearly pissed my pants! I don't even know how to form the words right now to explain how dope these Air Yeezy's with the Air Jordan VI sole are! I was just saying about how much I love the Air Jordan VI series. Now they put it together with the Yeezys for Doernbecher Children's Hospital charity event. They're 1 0f 1, and will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds go to charity. I wonder if I can donate my soul to charity...

Ah...I love the movies...

I hadn't planned to post anything until I had some new photos. But in my late night of watching movie trailers, I came across The Wolfman trailer with Benecio Del Toro and Hugo Weaving. It was then I realize how fucking cool Hugo Weaving is, much in part to his roles in the Matrix trilogy. But my favorite has to be V for Vendetta. If you haven't seen that movie, see it soon! Here's a piece of the movie that I never get tired of seeing. Check out all the V words!
